I consider myself to be a mid-western girl, originally from Indiana. I came to Nashville via southern Kentucky, where I attended high school. I attended college for 2 years at Campbellsville College, in Campbellsville, KY. I transferred to Belmont University, here in Nashville, fell in love with the city and just stayed here. I have a BM from Belmont, with a major in Piano Pedagogy, minor in voice. I have been an active church musician since I was 10 years old, serving as a music director for many years. I have been an accompanist for the Blair Children's Choruses, as well as a substitute director. I currently cantor at Saturday 5:00 Mass, here at St. Ann's. I also accompany the Chapel Sessions Singers, a performance/recording choir for ILP Music, a local publisher of Catholic hymns and songs.
When I'm not in the classroom or at the piano, I spend my time hiking with my family, listening to live music, reading or just watching the flowers grow!
